DeskCalendar ("the app") is a Windows desktop application that displays your Google Calendar events and Google Tasks. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used and stored, and how you can remove it.
DeskCalendar(이하 "앱")는 Google 캘린더 일정과 Google Tasks 할 일을 보여 주는 Windows 데스크톱 앱입니다. 이 방침은 앱이 어떤 데이터에 접근하고, 어떻게 사용·저장하며, 어떻게 삭제할 수 있는지 설명합니다.
1. Data the app accesses · 접근하는 데이터
With your permission, through Google OAuth, the app accesses:
- Google Calendar (read-only,
calendar.calendarlist.readonlyandcalendar.events.readonly): your calendar list (names, colors, and default reminder settings) and the events in the displayed time range (the 7 days starting today). Google returns each event's full details; the app uses only the title, start/end time, calendar color, your attendance status, and reminder settings, and ignores the rest (for example descriptions, locations, and attendee lists). - Google Tasks (
tasks): the names of your task lists, and the open tasks (title, due date, order) of the lists you choose to show in Settings. The app changes a task's status to completed when you check it, and creates a new task when you add one.
The app does not access any other Google data, and does not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage tracking.
앱은 OAuth로 허락받은 범위에서 캘린더 목록(이름, 색, 기본 알림 설정)과 표시 기간(오늘부터 7일간)의 일정(제목, 시간, 캘린더 색, 참석 상태, 알림 설정만 사용하며 설명·장소·참석자 목록은 쓰지 않음), 할 일 목록 이름과, 설정에서 표시하도록 고른 목록의 미완료 할 일(제목, 기한, 순서)에만 접근합니다. 할 일은 사용자가 체크하면 완료로 바꾸고, 입력하면 새로 만듭니다. 그 밖의 Google 데이터에는 접근하지 않으며, 사용 통계·오류 보고·추적을 수집하지 않습니다.
2. How the data is used · 사용 목적
Google data is used only to provide the app's user-facing features: showing your events and tasks, sending event reminders on your PC, and completing or adding tasks at your request. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train AI or machine-learning models.
Google 데이터는 일정·할 일 표시, PC 알림, 사용자가 요청한 할 일 완료·추가에만 사용합니다. 광고, 판매, AI·머신러닝 모델 학습에는 사용하지 않습니다.
3. Storage and security · 저장과 보안
- All data stays on your PC. The app has no server; it communicates only with Google's APIs over HTTPS.
- Your OAuth token is stored in
%APPDATA%\DeskCalendar\token.dat, encrypted with Windows Data Protection (DPAPI) so only your Windows account can read it. - A local cache (
cache.json,tasks-cache.jsonin the same folder) keeps only what is displayed — event title, time, calendar color, and reminder offsets; task title, due date, and order — so the app can show your schedule while offline. It is encrypted with Windows DPAPI like the token, and is overwritten on every sync. - Your app settings (
settings.jsonin the same folder) store the IDs of the calendars and task lists you chose to show, plus window position and display options, in plain text. A calendar ID can be an e-mail address. Logging out resets these choices.
모든 데이터는 사용자 PC에만 있습니다. 앱에는 서버가 없고 HTTPS로 Google API와만 통신합니다. 로그인 토큰은 %APPDATA%\DeskCalendar\token.dat에 Windows DPAPI로 암호화해 저장하며, 오프라인 표시용 캐시(cache.json, tasks-cache.json)에는 화면에 보이는 항목(일정 제목·시간·색·알림 시점, 할 일 제목·기한·순서)만 담아 같은 폴더에 DPAPI로 암호화해 두고, 동기화할 때마다 덮어씁니다. 앱 설정(settings.json)에는 표시하도록 고른 캘린더·할 일 목록의 ID와 창 위치·표시 옵션이 평문으로 저장되며, 캘린더 ID는 이메일 주소일 수 있습니다. 로그아웃하면 이 선택도 초기화됩니다.
4. Sharing · 제3자 제공
The app does not share, transfer, or disclose your Google data to the developer or to any third party.
앱은 Google 데이터를 개발자나 제3자에게 제공·전송·공개하지 않습니다.
5. Limited Use · 제한적 사용
DeskCalendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Deleting your data and revoking access · 삭제와 접근 철회
- Choose Log out (로그아웃) in the app's tray menu: the app revokes its access at Google and deletes the stored token and cache from your PC, and resets the calendar and task-list choices in
settings.json. - You can also revoke the app's access at any time at Google Account › Third-party connections.
- To delete all locally stored data, quit the app and delete the folder
%APPDATA%\DeskCalendar. Uninstalling the app does not affect your data in Google Calendar or Google Tasks.
트레이 메뉴의 로그아웃을 누르면 Google 접근 권한을 철회하고 PC의 토큰과 캐시를 지우고 settings.json의 캘린더·목록 선택을 초기화합니다. Google 계정의 서드파티 연결에서도 언제든 접근을 철회할 수 있습니다. 앱을 종료하고 %APPDATA%\DeskCalendar 폴더를 지우면 PC에 저장된 데이터가 모두 삭제됩니다. 앱을 삭제해도 Google 캘린더·Tasks의 데이터는 그대로입니다.
7. Children · 아동
The app is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes · 변경
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
